Kensington Mansion is  an antebellum plantation home in Eastover, South Carolina.  The beautiful Italianate Revival house is owned by International paper and is open to the public for tours.

The About Face plein air group painted on the grounds among old live oaks in July.  I started this piece on location in oils with a palette knife and completed details later in the studio.
