This afternoon the weather was beautiful, sunny and mild but windy.   I wanted to go out and do a quick plein air painting, so I found a sheltered spot in the shade in the side yard and painted the sun and shadows on the path to the back yard.  Sometimes it is good to remember that I don’t have to drive a long way in search of something to paint.
