I’m excited to tell you that my painting “Maritime Forest” has been accepted into Artfields 2014 in Lake City, SC.  The event is April 25 – May 4, 2014.

The historic farming community of Lake City is reinventing itself as a destination for the best of contemporary art from around the Southeast.  The 10-day event features live music, dancing, delicious Southern foods, and cash prizes totaling $100,000 that will be awarded to winning artists.  You will have the opportunity to purchase art and to vote on the People’s choice award.

My painting of the Maritime Forest at Hunting Island celebrates the cycle of life from lush tropical vegetation until the tree skeletons in the boneyard are reclaimed by the sea.  You can find my painting on display at SOUTHERN DISTRIBUTING CO.,111 N. CHURCH ST.
