This painting is from the Women Painters of the Southeast plein air event in Greensboro, Georgia this past weekend. The bright spring sunshine silhouetted the pecan trees and formed strong shadows in a vivid contrast with the fresh green grass. I painted most of this piece on location and finished it in the studio this afternoon.
