On a recent trip to Charleston, SC, I painted with two other artists on a residential street South of Broad on a quiet Sunday morning. It was a delight to see people walking to church and to hear the church bells while we painted. The weather was overcast, so I took the liberty of exaggerating the colors of the walls and trees.
