Wishing you healthy and happy holidays this year.
I’m continuing to work on small fabric collages, but progress is slow. I took a break and made a new design of a favorite subject, South Carolina’s state tree, the sabal palmetto. It has a reputation for being strong, flexible, and indestructible. It symbolizes strength in periods of uncertainty. Also, South Carolina’s motto is Dum Spiro Spero which means “while I breathe, I hope”. That seems appropriate for these pandemic times.
