A Year of Gelatin Printing

A book of gelli prints with crown binding

As you know if you’ve been reading my blog a while, I’m a fan of gelatin printing. So when Julie Fei-Fan Balzer offered a year-long class of gelatin printing and book binding, I was in. I hope learning about book binding will bring some order to all the prints I’m accumulating.

I’ve made a short video of what I learned in the first month. It’s an overview, not a “how to”. If you want to learn the details of the process, Julie’s class is here. https://balzerdesigns.com/Classroom/register/a-year-of-gelatin-printing/

  1. I love it, love it, love it. All Beautiful and putting pages in a book is a terrific way to organize the work.
    I love it all.

  2. You did a really good job on this video! It gives just enough information to get the idea across but not reveal actual actual how to process, and then it shows off your beautiful work too.
