This week, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer’s class, A Year of Gelatin Printing, is about printing with found objects. I’m using toilet paper rolls, rubber bands, and other recycled items to make shapes in the paint. Once again, my studio floor is covered with drying prints. Making prints in this way feels like play even while I’m learning new techniques.
