This weekend the About Face group travelled to Cashiers, NC, to paint. It’s always a challenge to scout painting locations and settle down to paint before the light changes. On Saturday, part of the group focused on an old barn and surrounding farm equipment, and others were attracted by the flowers at Chattooga Gardens garden center. I was struck by the contrast of the white flowers in the sun against the meditation hut in the shade.
