As I mentioned last week, I’ve been in decluttering mode lately. As I was reorganizing some of my paintings this week, I found this small piece from a plein air excursion some time ago that I had not posted. This painting is from Memorial Park in downtown Columbia, South Carolina. I was interested in the contrast of the organic form of the old tree against the architecture of the bridge.
