Coneflowers are prevalent in the gardens of Wildacres. They welcome visitors at the entrance and provide spots of bright pink and orange throughout the hillside garden.  The spindly texture of the foliage contrasts with the solid mass of the stone walls.

This piece was made by layering textured Gelli plate prints of the stone wall patterns and flower shapes with acrylic paints.
