This week I’ve continued practicing making stencils with CanvasWorkspace. This design was inspired by Moroccan tiles. I used the basic shapes in the software such as squares and circles to build a block and replicated it to fill up a page.
I made the first design to fit 8.5×11” cardstock, but the openings were too small to print clearly. In the software, I increased the size of the design to fit a 12×12” page.
I recut the design on the ScanNCut and made a Gelli print to test it. I like the scale better on the second version. One of the things I like about using the software is that I can tweak the design and recut the stencil.
