The shadow pattern on the ground inspired this painting. It’s another in my series from Clemson’s Sandhill Research and Education Center near my home in central South Carolina. The walking paths around the lakes provide many good views for painting. I’m doing several small pieces this week to work out compositions in preparation for doing some larger pieces.
