As the weather warms and the garden bursts into bloom, the pinks and yellows dominate. This week I’ve gathered some wispy grancy greybeards, pink azaleas, and yellow flame azaleas for inspiration.
I’m making new prints and combining them with shapes and colors from previous seasons. I like how the colors change with the seasons while staying grounded with the structural elements of the garden.
I don’t yet know how these prints will be combined. I’m just enjoying the process of pulling the excitement of the garden into the studio.

On the first photo, the print in the top right corner, I guess they are azaleas, I love that one very much. I would hate to see you cut that one up. Did you only make 1 of that?
I made it using the leaves from the hellebores. I did only make one. Every print on the Gelli plate is different. I can never be sure how they are going to turn out.
I enjoy how you combine gardens and art. You have come up with some very pretty combinations of prints that are not seen anywhere else! Keep on enjoying your experiments as we appreciate your talent !
