This week I’m still adding layers of surface design with ink and paint to my fabric collages. I’ve fused the top to the batting and added machine stitching. I’m finding that our recent rainy weather has been influencing the colors and images in these pieces. It will be interesting to see if they brighten up when the sun comes out.

I am glad to see that rainy days don’t get you down! I like your creatively. I especially like the three more colorful but the last one has good detail without bright color. Hopefully the sunshine is coming and we will see if that effects your art. I am working on a flower arrangement for the Arts and Blooms Presentation at the the Art Museum. Imagine taking one of your art pieces and expressing it in flowers. Mine is a 10 ft x 10 ft collection of mirrors that look like a Dahlia by Steven Naifeh. I should have said this is the Iris Garden Club’s project and if you ever want lots of opinions on anything just ask them😊
Looking forward to hearing more about these tomorrow.
