The weather is still hot here in South Carolina, but signs of fall are beginning to appear.  This morning I started painting at Sandhill REC while the sun was still low in the sky.  I was attracted by the yellow ochre and gold in the orchard and by the contrast between the trees and the industrial building just outside the oasis.
