The South Carolina State Fair starts tomorrow and runs October 13-24, 2021. The fine arts competition attracts a wide range or artists from all over the Palmetto State. One of the judges of the exhibit says,
“…what ties it all together is the passion, joy, wonder and heart that is palpable in every piece – and when it is all displayed together as one, it’s like you can feel the heartbeat of our beloved east-coast State.”

My large piece that I demonstrated on the blog during August, Easy Breathing, was accepted into the oversized category. And I was thrilled to learn that my monoprint Until We Meet Again won second place in the Professional Division Prints category.
Both pieces are for sale at the Fair along with many other beautiful works of art. I hope you will visit the Fair and take time to see the exhibit in the Cantey Building. Both of these works are beautiful. I especially like the “until we meet again” work; it sparks so many good memories in my mind. Love the direction you are going with your art. Good luck at the fair.
